After using an AirFloss for 2 years,which broke repeatedly, I switched to this at the recommendation of our dental hygienist. While it does take getting used to, it does a much better job of cleaning both between teeth and the gumline. Teeth and gums already feel cleaner. Only downfall is that it requires a lot of liquid, which makes it impractical to us Listerine, therefore limiting the ability to kill germs. I just rinse with the antiseptic afterwards.

Recently replaced my corded Waterpik with this cordless model. Easier to use without the cord. Good power, less water usage, used for three weeks and have not had to recharge the batteries. A little noisier than the corded model.

My dentist recommended this but I only hope it lasts more than a year when the previous model stopped working.
