I have been using this Water Pik for about a month and like its free-standing silhouette and availability on the bathroom counter--no water hook-up required, and it doesn't need much space. It works as well as the olriginal version of the Water Pik. Just fill the "tank" and go to work. Who needs dental floss?
One comment: you might have to fill the tank more than once to complete the job, depending on how much cleaning you need to do.
Another comment: The first day I had it, I accidentally dropped it and it hit the tile floor and was intact EXCEPT that the plastic head snapped off. It took me a bit to do an autopsy. I realized that I could extricate the base of the head by using tweezers while I had my finger on the release button. Close call, but it works great.
I bought this a month ago. It is a very good portable waterpik flosser. I'm pleased with it. I have a real big one at home. But, when you travel, this is a good one to take it with you on the trip.
I had this on my Christmas list because the dentist said my flossing wasn't cutting it. My teeth are so tight that even the floss frays and doesn't do the job. Now that I have my Waterpik WP-450, I can feel the difference - it gets the stuff out. It's quite messy but I think it's because I don't have the hang of it yet. Mine came with 4 attachments, I need to get the others and try them too.
I recently purchased a Waterpik because I had some dental work done and my dentist recommended it. It has performed beautifully for me, thus far! My bottom teeth are too close together for conventional floss to be effective, but I can use the Waterpik without the pain of wrestling a string between my teeth and shredding my gums in the process. This model even came equipped with a special attachment for my bridge. I am very satisfied with this product and only wish I had known about it sooner.
This works pretty good but runs out of water quickly. Not real powerful even on high but for what it is it's not bad. Does a decent job but not like the electric water flosser (but that is a totally different machine).
Been wanting to get a Waterpic for a long time. Finally was able to purchase one. The only thing I wish was different is the settings. On my model there's High and Low. A dialable knob for more settings would be great! Love not having a cord.
