I'm 64 and I can't believe I waited all these years to have a Waterpik. I could have saved myself a lot of dental problems if I would have used this through the years. Brushing and flossing is not enough if not thorough enough.
I have had the WaterPik for just under a month and am on the fence. It's a bit awkward to hold and not sure I like how hard it hits... I have switched to the brush attachment and will try that for awhile... May take it back as it is not quite what I thought it was.
Awesome flosser. My teeth feel wonderfully clean after I use it. I love to floss, but the WP-450 does so much better than manual flossing. I don't particularly like the mess or how often I have to refill the reservoir. I wish there was a trade up program.
Wanted a travel version. We already have the regular waterpik at home which is great (but too bulky to take along on trips). This works pretty well, but is a little awkward to hold when using compared to the full home version (where you hold just the wand). Also, need to refill the water tank about 2 times to adequately clean teeth. However, overall, a good unit for travel purposes. I would not buy/use it for regular home use, since the pressure is not as high as desired and the need to refill during use.
