began using the WP=450 about five or six years ago due to a recommendation of my dental assistant. The results were very favorable. Inasmuch as I do not have electrical outlet in my bathroom, the rechargeable unit fit my needs. I was somewhat disappointed when the unit would not take a charge after five years.
bought 4/18 so haven't used a lot yet. It has a lot of power & charge lasted 2 Xs the old 1 ! Great to see how much water is in it without dark tank. awkward to fill
This waterpik is a great improvement over the one that conked out in that the buttons are easy to press. Once you turn it on, it gets the job done quickly. The reservoir is easy to fill and empty. For someone with a little arthritis in the hands, I thank you.
I've used this for several weeks now & can say that it works. I like the cordless feature but find its design & overall size a little awkward for me to handle. I wish that the reservoir held just a few more seconds of water because I always seem to run out before I'm really finished flossing. Also, as the water level decreases, it becomes increasingly difficult to position the device in such a way as to get the last part of the water out of the reservoir. I guess that I wish I'd purchased a corded model, but maybe I just don't know how to use it properly.
I've used this product for a month now and appreciate the large water storage tank and the fact that you can put mouth wash along with water in the tank.
