I have opened my package. There are no labels to indicate what each tip is for. The illustrations are inadequate and I have not found any information about each type of tip on the web site. Disappointing and because I have opened the package I aim not able to return it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We are sorry that you are having difficulty with the Jet Tips. An image and description of the Jet Tips and what they are used for can be found on the side panel of the box and also in the instruction manual. We are reaching out to you for clarification via the email address that you provided.
I love the portability of being able to have a Waterpik when I’m away from home. I also have the WP-100 Waterpik water flosser for home which I love because it holds more water. The 450 is great for traveling it comes with 4 accessories: Plaque Seeker Tip, Orthodontic Tip, and two Classic Jet Tips. The downside is the tank is small and requires 4 fills for me to completely floss my mouth. I wear braces and it’s very important to me to keep them clean also I love the feeling my mouth feels like I just had my teeth clean at the dentist. It is very easy to use too. I recommend this to anyone who really like their teeth clean and cares about their oral hygiene.
I purchased the WP-450 after doing some research online about various water flossing products. I was familiar with the Waterpik brand having grown up with one in the house so it was more a question of which model would I purchase. I had already decided I wanted a cordless model before deciding that the WP-450 offered the best combination of features for the dollar. I have to admit that I was a little concerned about some online reviews that mentioned a disappointing lifespan of the unit's rechargeable battery. However, I couldn't find any brand of water flosser that didn't have some sort of negative comments so I decided to go ahead and purchase the WP-450. I've owned my unit for a little less than one month now and haven't experienced any problems (knock on wood). I've had to recharge the unit only 1x so far having used it once a day for the past month. I have found that the water chamber on the WP-450 is not that large. As a result, I have to refill the unit at least 1x when using it in order to give my teeth a good and thorough cleaning.
