does need a cover to put over the sprayer that is used like you do the toothbrushes to keep all out. Now I have to get a plastic bag and put over it so it is not left out in the open..

This Definitely has a learning curve. Well worth the money. Cleans out a lot of things after flossing and brushing . Gums are starting to take a hit from lack of flossing and covid lack of being able to go to dentist. The portability of it is based on the standard water reservoir. The different heads are great. Start slow and get used to it before using the high setting.

I like the product. I wish it came with plugs to cover the area where you charge it up. It's difficult to keep water out when in use. I also wish it came with the periodontal tip that comes with the countertop model .

It works. However there are some major drawbacks. Not enough modes, or control. Once on its either continuous high or low pressure. You almost need to be in the shower to use the flosser. Its extraordinarily messy. So the plus? It works. The drawbacks? Everything else.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
