I bought the machine less than a month ago. First time I am using other than a normal brush since I have a periodontal problem. The first time I used it I followed the instructions in the manual to start from inside teeth. You have to keep the unit vertical all the times. I didn't know how to do it and finally I was able to work it out. The first time I used it, I splashed a lot of water around the bath room. Finally, I figured out that I should really keep the mouth closed and then no water spills out. I wish there were more tips in the manual to help the first time user. There is a Hi/Lo switch in the unit. For some reason, it did not work. I went to the store I bought it from and they were nice and swapped it immediately. The hi/lo switch in then new unit seems to work. However, it is a bit hard manipulate. I am a bit surprised and hope that it does not stop functioning since it is a very useful feature. As I keep using it, I have started liking it. I want to use it with ozonated water to fight dental infection but I am being told that ozone can attach plastic and internal metals. Overall, it is a good investment and I hope they come up with a unit which can be used with ozone.

This product is awesome. I constantly fought a plague buildup on my teeth due to dry mouth. Using this product has really reduced my plague buildup. I was at Bed Bath and Beyond today and saw a Lady looking at your product. She wasn't sure if she wanted to buy it. I told her my experience with it and she went ahead and purchased one for herself.

I could not "live" without my waterpik. Does a wonderful job in keeping my teeth clean. Only wish I had one many years ago. I'm a regular flosser though this is a wonderful addition!
