I love using the water pik but the water container is very difficult to clean. I wish there was an easy way to do this

This is the second WaterPik I have owned and I didn't follow the charging directions so it failed prematurely. This one holds it's charge for one week and when the stream gets low it's time to recharge.

I bought this a few weeks a go and I am hoping it lasts longer than the two previous ones I have bought. It is too early to tell. However, this one seems to keep the charge much longer than the previous ones I have had, each of which lasted about two years.
