I brought this for my 9 year old son who has a pallette expander. I chose this over the children's models because it is mobile (charges overnight once a week) and small enough to charge on his bathroom table. Happy with decision to puchase this for him, he loves it too.
My dentist recommended I try a Waterpik to help clean between my teeth along with the Sonicare toothbrush I use. I didn't really like the corded ones & don't have room for one on my counter so I looked at this cordless. At first I didn't think much of it as it seemed to hold very little water & I didn't want to have to keep refilling it. Well I decided to give it a try & I'm glad I did. It holds enough water (mouthwash, whatever) to clean between all my teeth with no problem. I tend to use it twice a day & only just recharged it after 3 weeks(it could likely go longer but I was recharging my razor so I thought why not). It make my teeth feel almost like they have been sand blasted, very clean & fresh. I've been using it for a month with no problems. I really like this cordless version.
I've had this around 3 weeks and haven't had to recharge. It is a bit bulky. The power plug is exposed .. A plastic cover for the power plug would have been nice. For me, I have to refill the container again before I'm done water flossing. A charge light indicator would have been nice. I believe my gums do look better after 3 weeks of use .. So, I feel it is working.
I bought and started using the waterpic flossing recently and like it. the most likable feature is the dual pressure like, 'Low' and .'High'. It would have been nice if the power charge card has dual voltage to help international travel..
