This item simply doesn't hold enough water to do a thorough job of teeth cleaning. The tabletop model hold much more water and also seems to have more power.
After several dental visits and tooth repairs I decided I needed to improve my dental care. I saw this unit on the shelf, read the box, and made the purchase. While the unit works well, it is a handful and can easily get out of control if either my wife or I fail to have a firm grip. It does an outstanding job flossing and general cleaning.
This is the fourth one of these I've bought in the past ten years. The device works just fine; it just doesn't last. This time though, I registered the product.
I have always had issues with my gums. Last exam, my dental technician encouraged me to buy a Waterpik. I immediately went out and got one. I'm so glad I did. My gums have never felt so good.
