Empties too quickly

I'm used to using a water flosser; I just needed a new one. But with this model, although I fill the water chamber, it empties too quickly to finish flossing. To do a thorough job, I'm finding that I have to refill at least three times. I don't know if my unit is defective and sprays too much water too fast, or if this is normal. Either way, it is inconvenient and annoying to have to keep adding water. Also, when the water is too low, the noise this makes is annoyingly loud.
My spouse really likes this new water pik. She finds it much more powerful than our last model which was more than 10 years old. Taking the back off the water holder requires 2 actions at once which is sometimes problematic. Other than that, she would highly recommend this model.
Bought this at the recommendation of my dentist. I was having some implants done and the dentist said that using a water pick would do a better job of cleaning between teeth than flossing. I brushed as usual and then immediately used the water pick. I was amazed at had what my normal routine was missing.
I bought this waterpik because I am an adult who is now wearing braces. I didn't have the counter space for the bigger model so I got this smaller version. It is just okay. The pressure is not as strong as I would like. I have had to exchange it at the store twice because of this. It starts out fairly strong and after a while even with a complete charge it just doesn't have enough pulse. I am lucky in that the store has a policy that they will exchange it as often as needed. When it is strong enough it does a fairly good job.
