DISAPOINTMENT!

this microwave traps moisture between glass on door. i placed a service call and was told it was normal and would evaporate. yes, it does. my kitchen aide mixer which sits behind the microwave drips with moisture after i use the microwave. the door also sticks and will not pop open; i have to grab the right hand corner and pull the door open. the unit is very loud and the coil on the inside top has caused several spills with tall mugs. very disappointed with this puchase.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

have not had this product long and the push button that opens the door does not work properly. i push it as well as manually pry door open.

Hopeless Microwave

just bought a new home with the builder collaborating with samsung to provide appliances; the microwave functions do not work (defrost, etc). tried to chat with samsung sent to links that done open and sick of it.

The microwave itself is good. Samsung needs to focus on its packaging however.
I recommend the purchase of this microwave but just don't expect the packaging to save it because Samsung provides no means to effectively communicate to them about issues.

Latch broken in less than a year

less than a year old the latch and open button is broken.
i’m the only one using it and it is not handled roughly. repairman is coming next week to fix it.

Quality issues.

my first of these microwaves stopped working after about 2.5 years. it simply stopped turning on. i bought another one because i need it to fit into a particular space and it just seemed easier to get the same thing. on the new one, the door broke after a few days, such that the door release button does not pop open the door. instead, you have to push the button with one hand and pry it open with the other hand. inconvenient when you're usually holding a plate of food to stick in there. its still under warranty, but there are no local options for repair or home service according to the website. the option for mail-in service is glitchy on the website and i was unable to submit a service request after trying in both safari and chrome.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great microwave while it worked. Looked good on the counter and didn't take up a whole lot of space. Easy to clean.
After 5 or so months it would still power on but would not heat food. The problem has not been simple to resolve.

Loud and stopped working in less than 2 years

we didn't even use it that much (on average, once a day to once every other day to re-heat food/drinks) and after less than 2 years, the power won't stay on anymore. it's not the outlet or plug. additionally, the top cover of the microwave was loose from day one and always produced loud vibrations.
i'm severely disappointed in this product. we have many other samsung products and have always been happy with them. this experience has been horrible and we won't be using their appliances again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
