Door open button doesn’t work

the button that opens the door doesnt work.
instead, i have to keep the button pressed down and pull the door open with my other hand.
i bought this at best buy, and the issue first arose within the return window.
i assumed this was a fluke problem, so i exchanged it for a new one (same make/model).
however, the same problem arose again shortly after the return window closed.
i was advised to take the microwave to an independent repair shop and get it fixed myself.
i expected more from these companies.
i have bought a different brand microwave on amazon and will soon put this samsung microwave in the trash where it belongs.
i hope the $180 these companies saved by not helping me out is worth the cost of this honest review.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It feels like I am the first one who bought this product o.0 can't find any video online, I'm searching for "Microwave ovens with (the new feature) grilling element" and I can't find hows the grilling works. Of course gotta try it for myself coz I own one :P
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display, Durable, with ceramic cavity, with stainless rack and non-stick pan
Cons: fingerprint magnet

Overall it's a good microwave for its value. Works well. Only concern is that it's a bit heavy. But definitely value for money.

Only Lasted 3 Years

i bought a samsung 1.1 cu. ft. microwave oven (from amazon) on january 13, 2017 and it only lasted three years (not acceptable). i have bought other products from samsung, including hard drives and tablet computers. i will seriously be considering other electronic manufacturers for my future electronic needs.

Second Samsung Microwave

This is the second Samsung microwave that we have owned. The first one needed to be retired due to age. This one is designed well and easy to use.

I haven't had much use of this product yet; it was just delivered today. I am anxious to try the grilling feature. I already know however that the clock runs slow...about 5 minutes per hour but since the clock doesn't get involved in cooking time, I don't care if it runs slow. The black interior makes it hard to see what is going on while cooking. The light doesn't seem very bright. But these are not things that will affect performance. There are a lot of preset buttons which are easy to read and a crisper plate for things like French fries and other crispy things. I am anxious to try that too.
Pros: Bright display, Durable

Product Failed 23 Days After Warranty Expires

i guess i should have read more reviews. it's a very nice product, but not reliable. it has a 1 year warranty and what do you know - the unit totally died 23 days after the warranty expired! it has only been lightly used and to die at just over 1 year? unbelievable. i contacted samsung and they said to schedule a service appt which i would have to pay for. that would be silly because service and parts would cost more than the $160 microwave! i guess samsung is not customer focused, has no flexibility in product failure policy and poor product quality to boot. time to buy a different brand.
