We did a lot of research before selecting this model and we have not been disappointed. Also love the bottom 2 drawer freezer, ice maker and water dispenser in the front. The double doors are also very convenient. Just a great and well thought out design.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] LG refrigerator compressor went bad after 6 years. Parts covered under warranty but labor was not. Its not a DIY fix either. Still cost about 1/3 the price of new refrigerator. Technician was GREAT! I got on the schedule in 1 day which is important when your refrigerator isn't working. He was on time and called with updates. Job was done correctly and quickly and cleaned up too. I just wish the labor costs were included when this is a known issue with this compressor.

Needed to replace former LG refrigerator of 5 years. Quickly available and seems great. Not so happy with the noise that is made with the freezer ice maker - but grateful to have door and freezer ice makers for when in high demand. Also we were used to the split shelves in refrigerator to allow bottles to be stored instead of just one of door shelves.
