slow to make ice could be 3 days

Everything fits! Great looking to and quiet. Ice maker is a plus - doesn't take up room and lighted door functions are excellent and readable by old eyes!

What an upgrade! Wow!

We bought this refrigerator about a month ago. I cannot believe the difference between this and our old side by side refrigerator. First, nothing gets lost on the shelves on the french door upper section (everything is in view and not hidden) and there is so much more room. I love that one shelf portion can slide back, if we need space for some very tall things. The ice maker on the door is ingenious. Unless you are having a really large crowd it makes enough ice. I am glad I did not loose a lot of shelf space on the ice maker french door. I love how easy it is to get the ice and still have door shelves . The refrigerator is very quiet. The crisper drawers work really well. It keeps my veggies fresh way longer than my old refrigerator did.
Having two freezer drawers is wonderful. It is easy to organize the frozen food because of the dividers within the draws and because of the two drawers.
Who would have thought a person could be thrilled with just a refrigerator, but I know I am! Highly recommend this one for all its wonderful features.

We had a 'side by side' fridge that came with the house but this new LG is so much more convenient. We have limited space in front of the fridge and the old one was very tight with an island only 30 " away. This new LG gives us ample access space.

Beautiful, But...

I purchased this last month. Love it Except the Glide and Serve drawer (large one on bottom) does not glide. It is jerky and takes finesse and muscle to open it. I have noticed that there are quite a few reviews on the same problem. Sent and email today to LG hoping there is a solution to this problem. If anyone has had the same problem suggest you email them and perhaps they will find a solution.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is a great product, especially from a value perspective. I would have preferred to have both a door-in-door and the top freezer drawer able to have the choice to be freezer or fridge, but that model wouldn't fit through our doorway. Once we figured that out and "settled" for this model, it turned out that it's perfect for us.

Love the layout of my refrigerator and I love the way it makes ice. My hubby loves his alcohol cold so we dedicate one freezer drawer to ice and liquor. Works great for us!
