It’s been less than a year and the ice maker stopped working. I had to have the ice maker replaced. The digital screen also does not work. To set freezer temperature it skips over degrees now. I was told they need to replace the front screen as well. Waiting for that to happen. This shouldn’t happen within a year of purchasing such an expensive refrigerator!

So Disappointed

I bought this fridge to go in my home August 2016.... 3 years to the week of compressor goes out.... Here I am today less than 60 days later.... compressor is gone out AGAIN!!! Over $300 worth of food ruined and nothing that I can fo about it besides take off work AGAIN for the compressor to be replaced AGAIN... I don't understand because it's a basic fridge, no bells, no whistles...NOTHING! I will NEVER purchase another LG product again in life.

Great fridge until it isn’t.

First thought it was just the ice maker but nope, it was the whole pkg. and not having much luck with Rains appliances where I purchased it, either. Should’ve went with my gut feeling and stayed away from LG since my son had a flatscreen tv that went out in less than a year. Still waiting on repair person to pick it up and haul it to the store so they can see if it’s the linear compressor or what and it’s already been 6 days. NoSo, looks like my summer is going swell.

Compressor stopped working for the second time.

Purchased the #LFXSZ4623S Frig on 9/28/15. On 6/28/2018 I had to have the compressor replaced. The authorized LG dealer that did the replacement told me LG was having a problem with this model compressor. He replaced it with a newer model compressor and I paid the labor. Now on 8/22/2020 the compressor has quit again. There seems to be a problem with this model. I'll have another authorized LG tech come out on Monday and tell me my options. This frig is becoming VERY expensive with the labor bills and loss of food twice.

Compressor died 4 years in

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Compressor stopped working after 4 years. It was still under warranty, took 2 weeks to get a repair person out, they changed the compressor and then it stopped working 24 hours later. We can't get another repair person scheduled for month.
Also as an aside, the water dispenser design is terrible, didn't realize it until after we purchased.
