This is a good movie, but you can tell it was catered to Bruce's aging limits as there wasn't a whole lot of the classic hands on action stunts where he's being thrown all over the place, but was slowed down to more of a dialogue "let's think things out first" kind of vibe. Still provides for lots of fun, but the previous Die Hards are better.
What's great about it: Loads of action
What's not so great: Bruce was clearly too old for another Die Hard

i didn't really care for the series at all. i did end up giving in and seeing it with my friend. it was suprisingly good. there was some decent action in it even though bruce is a little old. i would buy this for the right price. it's worth watching at least once.

This movie is good if you just want to put it in, sit back, and watch explosions. Just don't try to look at it objectively or realisticly. The Semi-truck scene towards the end is especially ridiculous. And did anyone else notice that after that long drawn out scene, Willis turns to see the "bad guys" just around the block!?!? Ah well, overall the movie is an ok 'guys night' movie, but wouldn't be my first choice.
What's great about it: Good action sequences at times, SOME witty dialogue
What's not so great: Bad guy is a GEEK, totally unrealistic, Yippie Ka-yea.... (still waiting)....

I liked the series and this one holds true to the original character. I believe someone said that that the young woman playing McClane's daughter was the same actress who played her in 1987 as a young child. All that aside the only gripe I have about this DVD is that all of the extras mentioned, except the commentary were absent from the disk. No featurette and no music video. I really am ticked off that in order to get the Trailer I have to buy the 2 disc special edition that includes all the other extras that were mentioned here. Whats the harm in putting one more extra on the single disc. And since there were two trailers how come only the Blue Ray gets one and not both. ( I haven;t seen it so it may acually have the teaser and trailer.) All the other DVD's have their trailers and the special gift set released earlier this year also had the teaser. This is not the fault of Best Buy, but rather Fox.
What's great about it: Great movie - 2 versions of the same movie

When I first heard about this movie I wanted to see it but was not sure how it would be with Bruce Willis getting up in age. This movie just shows that at any age you can still kick some butt. Check it out and see for yourself.

This was a great follow up to the previous movies. I didn't think they were going to be able to match any of the first three movies, but they a great job on this one.
What's great about it: Action, adventure, guns and explosions
