So happy I bought this camera

I bought this camera in Anchorage, Alaska. I had been traveling with my PowerShot S100, which is a great camera with not a lot of zoom. On my way to Anchorage I had missed several opportunities at some great wildlife photos because of the limited zoom. The SX60 HS has such a powerful zoom that I did not miss a shot the rest of my time in Alaska. The powerful zoom combined with the Image Stabilization let me take long shots without a tripod. I am very happy with my purchase and have recommended this camera to several friends.

Great Christmas gift

My son gave me this camera for Christmas last year because he had one. Although the camera I got for Christmas had the flash feature go bad, I sent it to Canon to be repaired they just sent me a replacement. The camera I had took outstanding pictures and the zoom was out of this world (Moon and other distance shots) The shooting mode features are awesome! Best camera I've ever owned!

I have had this camera since it was released and have enjoyed the super features the camera has. I take many long range pictures and find them to be excellent quality. I have also used the movie features and find the camera very versatile.

Love this camera!

It takes the best pictures I have ever taken! I love the features and the lens! The rotating view screen and optical view finder and wifi are the main reasons I bought this camera! The only reason I didnt give it a 5 is the lens cap broke after a year and a half and the battery it came with does not hold a charge long. The Vivitar batteries I bought for backup last much longer.

Excellent Superzoom

This camera continues to surprise me. Excellent features great image quality. The zoom is tremendous. It does struggle in low light but outside during the day and in well light areas it is fabulous. They need to make another version with even more zoom and higher image quality. Love this camera.

What a great little camera. It is a nice step between the high end and low end. The zoom feature is absolutely incredible. You'll need a monopod or tripod to use it effectively. I am completely satisfied and highly recommend.

Impressive feature list, takes a bit of time to learn, but worth it. Only area of improvement is low-light performance. Bigger sensor? However, you can work around it.
