You're reading this review because you're not sure if you should buy it. I admit it does spend a lot of alone time on my counter BUT if I spend just 1 minute of planning, this mixer can be used to make almost anything. An everyday purpose for me is to bake chicken and then shred it in the mixer. Chicken salad sandwiches for days! Also, banana bread is a favorite in my home. Not to mention, you look pretty cool with it mixing it all by itself while you sip wine while adding ingredients. Throw on a vintage apron and you're officially killing it. Life's short, buy the mixer.

I just replaced my Kitchen Aid mixer that I have had for 40 years! That's right my first one I got 40 years ago and it just died. So I went out to get a new one. I love this mixer already, its a step up from the one I had and my only hope is that this one lasts another 40 years, if I do, lol

I have had a KitchenAid mixer my whole adult life. It helps feed us at least twice a week. After 17 years I decided to upgrade to a more powerful model and loved being able to pick my own color. I chose 'ocean drive'. Packaging was great and the mixer is gorgeous. It seems a little quieter than my older model. I've used it twice so far and everything seems in order to have many tasty foods feed my ravenous teenagers...they are bottomless pits, so having the spacious bowl and the equipment to assist is extremely helpful and why KichenAid is such a good investment. I gave 4 stars because differentiating between models/prices and accessories was irritating to me.

This is our second Artisan Kitchenaid mixer. We bought our last one in 2006 and it lasted until October 2019 (fare thee well, sweet mixer). These are wonderful, tough machines and we are loving our new Metallic Chrome color.
This color is very nice, its like a deep, deep white, almost a gray and very glossy. It goes well with our black granite tile, not an extreme color but also bright enough to be a statement. I love these machines. Happy cooking.
