This mixer replaces the classic which I had for about 30 years. I like this one because of the larger bowl. My other one was only 4.5 quarts and this one is 5 quarts. It works well and I am sure it will last 30 years as well. By then I will be 100 years plus so I might be ready to give up cooking/baking though I doubt it.

A first I didn't realize these mixers are all handmade in Ohio. That sold me right there. Sturdy and strong, well built and engineered to get the job done.
