What is there to say? It's a great mixer. The unit and mixing attachments that come with it are great, but a huge plus is that there are scads of other pieces (meat grinder, pasta maker, etc.) for the hardcore home chef. With Kitchenaid, just pick your color and you will be a happy camper.
What's great about it: It's KitchenAid quality, and it makes a statement in my kitchen
I would recommend this to a friend!

I got this mixer for my wife for Christmas. She had been wanting a kitchen aid mixer for a few years now. She does a decent amount of baking and this mixer is exactly what she wanted. It is very high in quality and has a wide variety of add-ons that you can purchase. She has used it a couple of times so far and is very happy with it.
What's great about it: High Quality
What's not so great: With a high quality product comes a higher price, but it is worth it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I purchased this mixer for my wife. She has always wanted a Kitchen Aid Mixer. They are known for their high quality. Upon delivery, the pour shield was warped and we had to call and have it replaced. Then, about 3 weeks later, the paint/plastic started chipping off the main beater around the neck (an area that doesn't even get near the bowl). It started chipping even though we were hand washing it. That being said, interacting with Kitchen Aid to get the replacements have been great. They were courteous and prompt. We are still waiting on the new beater but it should be here shortly. We also had to adjust the "Factory Settings" as shown in the manual because it wasn't quite getting close enough to the bottom so that it would mix the ingredients thoroughly. It was easy to adjust and the directions were clear. Overall, it seems like a good purchase. Time will tell :)

It’s very pretty on my counter top and it works very nicely. I don’t bake a lot but I plan too with this machine! I recently went gluten free and this mixer is going to help me make breads and noodles that I can be sure of what is in it and make it at a cheaper price.

Would love to give you a great review. Unfortunately the Beater was frozen on and we were not able to get it off and so we called Kitchen Aid and they are going to send out a replacement and it would take 6 to 8 weeks to get. :(

My wife loves to make cookies (for the kids of course) and she loves her mixer. She has said how many more cookies she can make with this mixer than with a hand mixer. she said her arm would get tired from holding other one for so long, but this one is excellent. I wish she would make more cake, but I'm not complaining! She has used all the attachments and wants to now get some of the extra ones, to try new things. Enjoy yours this is a great gift! (for everyone)
