What a Great Mixer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't know how I got along without this stand mixer before. I simply love this mixer and I also have the Ice cream maker attachment what a blessing this has been this summer. I can't wait to get the pasta and vegetable spiral attachment. As well as the sausage maker attachments.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband and I received this as a wedding gift and we couldn't be happier. The attachments for this mixer are easy to swap in and out and clean-up is a breeze. Very efficient mixer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought it because I had to replace another Kitchen Aid mixer. I wanted it so I could do my holiday baking. My other Kitchen Aid mixer stopped turning the beaters but the motor runs. Can you tell me where I can get it repaired.

The good, the bad, and the ugly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this as a much wanted addition to my kitchen. I had been wanting one for quite awhile but the prices were too high for my budget. Finally found one in the right price range, read lots of reviews, and bought online. The good:. It is a beautiful, solid mixer. Seems to have plenty of power, easy to use, not too noisy, and does not move when in use. The bad: I especially wanted it to make bread and yeast recipes but the dough hook does not do a very good job. I have tried putting the ingredients in in different order to see if that helps but it seems to make no difference. My mixer came with the stainless steel bowl which has an upraised dimple at the bottom and I am wondering if that is part of the problem? Have to research online to see what others have to say. And now the ugly:. I was really excited about the collar but either I got a defunct one or they just do not fit right. I have clicked it in so that all three nubs are on the outside of bowl, start mixing and while adding flour it comes off.... It is just easier to take it off, shut the mixer off, add the flour, drape a kitchen towel over the mixer and turn it back on until flour is mixed in....I think this part could use some re-work. So there are things I love and things I can't stand...
