[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love my boysenberry colored mixer! I have used it several times and know that I must get the attachment with the scraper. I don't know why they don't include that one instead of the other one. For the price of the mixer....the useful attachment should be included. So I now need to buy that attachment which annoys me.
Also, not a huge fan of the shield. Dust from the flour/powdered sugar was still flying all over the place. Plus, it is very difficult to add through the opening because it is so small. You can't use a 1 cup measuring cup at all. I found that to be difficult as well. Maybe I just haven't figured out the learning curve for that yet. Tips would be helpful.
Overall, I do love how it makes mixing heavy batter easier. But clean up is definitely way longer than before.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mixer does it all! I have fibromyalgia, and my mother in law has horrible arthritis. So for us, mixing by hand is not only difficult but also painful. The two of us love to cook and bake, but it was getting to where our beloved hobby was less frequent due to the fact that it wasn't worth the pain to make things from scratch. In just one week this single kitchen appliance has gotten us back in the kitchen, and we couldn't be happier! Since you can just dump your ingredients in and the work is done for you (and it's done well) we don't worry about the discomfort from partaking in our favorite pastime! Thank you so much Kitchenaid!
