[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For years I used an inexpensive hand mixer for all my baked goods, but I finally broke down and bought a KitchenAid Stand Mixer after I had tried out the one that my son has. What a huge difference! Everything is easier! I also love the colour choices available. I chose grey so that it would fit in with my kitchen decor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a Kitchen Aid stand mixer that I purchased in approximately 1995. The power on/off lever stopped working so I had to purchase a new mixer. The new model, artisan, looks pretty but does not have the power nor the speed that my previous model had. Although the wattage is supposedly higher than my previous model I just don't see how that can be correct. I back often and I am not thrilled with my recent purchase.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

When my husband surprised me with one for here in North Carolina as an early Christmas present , I was ecstatic ! The quality of construction is just outstanding ! No other mixer even comes close .
