Not just "another screen"

When we first recieved the Leap TV I was skeptical. Not because I don't love LeapFrog, I do! I adore them! But because do we really need another screen device in our home. As much as I love our Leapster and LeapPad, trying to get my daughter off of them can be an event sometimes. Man, oh man, was I off base! We LOVE our LeapTV! The games are exactly the high quality learning games that I have come to expect from LeapFrog, and my daughter is up on her feet, moving and grooving while she plays them. We live in an area that has pretty awful winters. It can be tricky to get movement into our day every day. I love that this combines movement and learning in a way that keeps my daughter engaged!

Active Learning and Fun

I invited my kids friends over for a LeapTV party and it was a hit! The LeapTV is easy to set up with your TV. Since it is meant for children 3-8 the games are easy to figure out, yet tons of fun. I love that the games sneak learning into the fun. For example when we were bowling the kids had to answer a math question. If they got the answer right their bowling ball would be powered up and hit the pins harder. If they missed it was just a regular bowling ball.
All of the games encourage you to move around and be active. I love that some of the games are up to 4 simultaneous players. It made it perfect for our big group of kids to rotate through 4 at a time.
Leap Frog sent me a free LeapTV for review purposes. All opinions are completely my own.

LeapTV is a Whole Lot of Leaping Fun!

My children are ages 1-7 and have all loved the new LeapTV. The games are interesting, fun and educational for the kids. Additionally, the LeapTV is both Kid-Tough and Kid-friendly with its durable design. The controller has withstood quite a bit of rough play from my children and looks no worse for the wear. I highly recommend this product!

Love the LeapTV

I am so impressed with this system! My 6 year old loves to play the 'sports!' game. The snowboarding game is one of his favorites and it teaches him math at the same time! Karate is also a big hit with all the neighborhood kids.

Active Gaming for Beginners and Beyond!

I received this product in exchange for an honest review. LeapTV entertains the entire family. This gaming system is fun, educational, and inspires teamwork and competition. The game controller is brilliantly designed to easily transform for two hand or one hand gaming. This controller combined with the fun educational games making this the perfect gaming system for beginners. The hands free gaming also gets the kids moving even more. The LeapTV comes with the Pet Play World game already on the system. This game allows kids to customize pets, play games, and more! The LeapTV is simply a great source of family fun.

LOVE Leaping Into Gaming with the new LeapTV

This device is very similar to many educational cartoons (Jake, Sofia, Dora, etc.) you learn as you play. Best part is you can play along side the Disney characters! Although this is a gaming console I would say this ranks very high on the educational spectrum. It is worth he money invested. The systems is rather small so it can fit in or on entertainment shelves. Children need to be close by it in order to operate the motion plays.
Pros: Educational, Good for on-the-go play, Fun for kids

Great fun, active and appropriate

My almost-5 year old loves this new game system from LeapFrog. He can use the multi-use controller all by himself, and he grins when the camera picks up his image for certain games. Every game and level is a little different, and his favorite right now is Spiderman.
I love that the product is LeapFrog, which means I know it will be safe, educational, and fun.
The setup was a little tricky because we have a recessed wall with an extension mount TV. It took us a few tries to figure out where the TV and camera should be, but now it's great fun.

The kids love the new LeapFrog Leap TV!

We hosted a Leap Into Gaming LeapTV party with kids ages 2 to 8 years old. The games are really fun and each took a turn playing the Sport game. I love that they are learning while playing games and think this is the perfect starter game set as you are assured that the games are age-appropriate PLUS educational! We are big fans of LeapFrog products!
