i bought sony alpha 58, combo pack including 2 lenses- 18-55, and 55-200,
as per sony website- alpha 58 records on 60i 24 p ,

Video Mode : AVCHD: FX - 1920 x 1080/60i@24Mbps FH - 1920 x 1080/60i@17Mbps FX - 1920 x 1080/24p@24Mbps FH - 1920 x 1080/24p@17Mbps MP4: HD - 1440 x 1080/ 30p@12Mbps VGA - 640 x 480/ 30p@3Mbps :::

good camera for hobby photography....

this camera is good but when i use external flash i cant see the object..... so u cant use it for professional photography.....
other quality are good.... picture quality is sharp....

I bought this camera two years ago, and I am loving it!.
I am a full-time photographer and vlogger so I use this camera a lot and I never let me down, just this year I started thinking about buying different lenses, but untill now I've been using the standard lens and I love the quality of it.

light weight and my Minolta Maxxum lenses fit

I've used this camera for a couple of years and it is wonderful. Light weight and I can use all my older Minolta Maxxum lenses. The camera is easy to use, and the advanced functions can be learned with some trial and error. I'm 65+ and I have taken wonderful pictures with this camera.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Have had the camera 3 years, and now I can not use it. Any time any len is attached to it, the camera has an error screen, that reads to turn it off and on. which does not work. The only way to lose the error screen is to take out the battery, and disconnect the lens.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
