Lots of room, performs great so far

We had this installed a couple weeks ago and so far it has been great. We got rid of a Maytag 26.5 side by side that we had for 11 years and we thought that one had a lot of room. This one has much more useable space. I love how it can be configured so many ways to accommodate different size items.
The temperature controlled slide out drawer also works very well. You don't have to have the doors all the way open to slide out the drawer. This was a big plus for us, and one of the reasons we chose Samsung over LG. We have set the drawer for chilled and keep our meats and cheese in it. It works great and has plenty of room.
The humidity drawers also seem to work well. Big surprise, because I have never had a fridge work well in this regard.
The freezer poses a little bit of a challenge since we are not used to a bottom freezer, but I think that is just us getting used to it.
Temperature is maintained properly. My only real complaint is when crushed ice is dispensed it tends to splatter a bit and make a mess on the stainless.
If anything changes I will report back.

Amazing amount of room

In the same footprint of our old side-by-side refrigerator, we now have over 4 cu. ft. more space. The interior design makes it seem even larger, and the ability to customize the shelving and pockets maximizes the already large space. The display takes the guesswork out of temperature setting, the freezer compartment has a tremendous amount of usable room. In our open plan house, you see the kitchen when you come in the front door, and the refrigerator looks great, so that is not a problem. Our friends are looking for excuses to buy a new refrigerator.
Pros: great space, very clean appearance, energy efficient

Broken Ice Maker

The fridge looks great both inside and outside. I chose this fridge because of the lighting inside the firdge, and the layout. The unit is 3 months old, and the ice maker already broke. It is making a very loud banging noise every 5-10 seconds. Very disappointed that a problem has occurred in such a short period of time on such an expensive product.

Didn't want the ice/water in the door, but ...

We specifically didn't want the ice and water dispenser in the door. Our model (without ice/water) arrived and was installed, but within a day, it quit cooling.
The service department first told us it was probably an electrical surge in the house that caused the problem. So, an on-site technician was scheduled. Upon further checking, the problem turned out to be the compressor. And it was a fault with the manufacturing process.
The sales department said our exact model wasn't available, so we upgraded to this model. We love the bottom freezer, and the features inside the fridge compartment.
Door storage is very convenient and deep enough to hold pretty big bottles of soda or wine. The trays are nice, too.

Just love all the space

I have had my refrigertor about 5 months love the open space of the french doors. Has great features there is lots of space in the freezer.
Pros: Bright display, freezer very spacious
Cons: ice maker kind of small
