Although the cycles on this machine are slightly long (40+ minutes), this washer does a amazing job and is super efficient and very quiet. I was going to buy a Whirlpool and then an LG but I'm glad I bought this one. Great price and financing options also! You cant go wrong.
What's great about it: Everything! Does a wonderful job!

Seriously, this washer is very quiet.
Keep in mind that I have only owned this washer for all of 18-hours. However, I have managed to complete four loads of laundry and get 8 hours of sleep in that time. (I'll do more as soon as I find something else to wash; having been without a washer for three weeks you would think that a family of four would have more dirty laundry - this washer really holds a lot of clothes.)
I really am excited about this purchase. Honestly, I nearly vetoed my husband's choice when I saw the price ($1,039.99 ON SALE - ouch!). Thus far, I must admit that he was right - this washer is worth the cost (if you can manage it).
The laundry comes out of the washer nearly dry! (That is on the next to fastest spin setting) Since we still have an old-school dryer this is a wonderful bonus; drying time is approx. 1/2 what it was with our old top-load washer. I have heard some cautionary tales regarding the noise made when the washer is spinning. However, we live in an upstairs apartment and have not had a problem thus far. Granted, I use the next to fastest spin.
One of my biggest concerns was the potential for mildew on the seal (a seemingly common problem with many front loaders). This Samsung model dries quickly if you leave the door open after your finished; the machine automatically powers down after the cycle is over (so, you're not wasting electricity).
This washer has a ton of cycles; my favorite feature is the "my cycle" option. You can easily use it to customize your load - the machine will remember your last "my cycle" setting; next time you just have to press the "my cycle button." The only thing better would be if you could enter multiple customized load setting (Samsung, if you're out there...).
Also, if you are apprehensive about using a high-tech washer, this machine may be for you. Its interface is extremely consumer friendly (you may not even have to read the instruction manual to figure it out).
I look forward to continuing to use this washer; will get back to you when I can speak to the reliability of this computerized machine.
Note: if you are accustomed to using a top-loader, then it may be a bit of an adjustment for you to stoop to load the washer - it is no worse than doing the same for the dryer; if it really is a problem for you then I recommend that you buy the pedestals.
What's great about it: very quiet, effiecient, large capacity

After shopping around for a new washer, we are glad we went with the Samsung. We looked at both colors and decided the White was better at hiding any scratches. We keep the washer in the garage and can't even here it running. Prices vary, so shop around for a good deal!
What's great about it: Super quiet, features, easy to use.

I HAVE HAD THIS WASHER FOR ALMOST A MONTH AND WE LOVE IT. OUR OLD WASHER HAD BEEN WITH US FOR THE LAST 10 YEARS AND LET ME TELL YOU THE TECHNOLOGY OF THE NEW WASHER MAKES THE OLD ONE LOOK PRETTY SAD. IT WAS LIKE GOING FROM A MODEL-T TO A FERRARI. THE SILVER CARE AND THE STEAM CLEANING WORK GREAT. THE CLOTHES COME OUT ALMOST DRY FROM THE SPIN AND SAVES TIME ON THE DRYING. SO, I GUESS THE EXTRA LONG WASH TIME IS MADE UP IN THE DRYER.
What's great about it: THIS BABY WILL GET YOUR CLOTHES SUPER CLEAN
What's not so great: THE WASH CYCLES SEEM TO BE LONG

This washer is rated as the most quiet among front-loaders and so far I have found that to be the case. Even odd items such as bath mats which often threw my old washer out of balance, spin out on high with very little sound and vibration. The fact that the machine automatically knows the size of the load is terrific--no guessing. Since this is the fourth appliance I have had to replace in 8 months, I was hesitant to invest so much in a washer. I am pleased to report that I do not regret the decision. My friends who have purchased lesser expensive models are envious!
What's great about it: Super Quiet!!! Fun to watch!

This washer performs very well and it cleans your clothes very well. I use the steam occasionally but I use the sanitize mode very often since my children are in sports and we own dogs. I cannot tell you how well the comp washer and dryers compare but I am very happy with my samsung steam washer and dryer.
What's great about it: cleans very well uses very little water
