Keeps items cold

Second Samsung fridge I have purchased. Last one was 5 years ago in a previous house and we loved it. This one is a different story. The seals need constant up keep because they grow mold. The shelves are cheap plastic that bend when you fill the fridge. There are one 2 spots for a gallon of milk and they must be on the door. If you configure the shelves just right you can squeeze a gallon of milk on them buy tipping the jug sideways, pushing the other shelf up and turning it upright. The cheese draw moves around but doesn't lock in place, you can't open it with out opening both doors. The veggie bins are completely way to large. I can fit 4 whole chickens to thaw in one drawer, which is only nice when you need to thaw that much at once. Otherwise its wasted space, even with one full of vegetables. Theres only 4 slots for the shelves with no center supports, so the shelves sag with any loading of the fridge. At 6 months of use the slides for the freezer are loosing ball bearings. The door bins also have minimal positions, so larger condiment bottle must go on shelves. Loved our old 36in fridge and for the same price point, this one was designed horribly and it a major let down in quality.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Looks pretty, but...

I have had this refrigerator for approximately one month; it makes awful loud spontaneous noises, as if it were getting ready to “short circuit”.; when it is operating “normally”, it is fairly quiet. There is a constant dripping of condensation at the seal of the French doors( this leaks onto the gasket of the freezer; there is a thin ice crust layer on the bins do the freezer at all times, and I do not have the ice maker on nor is it even connected. Navigating the Samsung website is tedious, at best. My suggestion is to look elsewhere for a functioning, trouble free appliance.
Pros: fits the kitchen design
Cons: Did not meet expectations, Poor quality, noisy and seemingly poorly designed appliance, difficult to keep the ss surface clean
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Dead in a year and a half

I don't like adding reviews that show ugliness but I am unhappy today. We have had this beautiful state of the art piece of equipment and its dead. Yesterday we started hearing a noise coming from the back of the refrigerator and four hours later it died. We thankfully have the Lowes extended warranty but of course like anything else it happened on Saturday at 2:30pm. Everyone knows at this time, no one is coming.
In a nutshell, Tuesday they are coming to look at it, and my hopes are they credit it and I will buy something else.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color
Cons: Did not meet expectations, Poor quality, lasted less than 2 years
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Fit through tight doorway

I am very pleased with this refrigerator. We chose it primarily because it was the French door style without an in-door water/ice dispenser, which we were looking for. Also because it measured 26 1/4" deep with the doors removed; so it fit through the 26 1/2" kitchen doorway. It was great value for the money. It looks nice. LED lights inside.
The only design quibble I might have:
If they made the right hand crisper drawer a little smaller, I could pull it open without having to open the left hand door.
Pros: good value, fits into a tight space
Cons: minor design flaw
I would recommend this to a friend!

Low amp draw (3 amp), Quiet, Long Limited Warranty

We bought this to replace our RV refrigerator with a residential refrigerator. I and my wife are extremely pleased with the upgrade. The unit is extremely quiet, quietest refrigerator I've ever owned. Installed easily thru 27 1/2 high side window. I read allot of the shortcomings prior to buying, negative reviews etc., none were offsetting to the advantages of this unit. The rv installer for this unit told me they have never had a defective Samsung or one come back to them because of failure. I have used this installer for over 10 yrs and know them to be truethful. This goes along with my 30 plus years in the rv industry and never having a rv customer regret having the residential refrigerator in their rv.
Now my refrigerator easily stays at 40 degrees and the freezer a -2 degrees.
Samsung Limited Warranty in the U.S. is as follows: One (1) year Parts and Labor on Refrigerator Five (5) years Parts and Labor on sealed Refrigeration system only which includes the compressor, evaporator, condenser, drier, and connection tubing. and since this model has the Digital Inverter: Ten (10) years Parts and Five (5) years Labor on Digital Inverter Compressor.
I appreciate their web site that lets you register all your Samsung products and keep track of warranties, and lets you be notified of any recalls.

Constant defrost problem

Purchased product 2 years ago. First repair call was after 1 year. The back of the refrigerator freezes up and the fan makes noise. Have to defrost by removing all the food, shelves and back cover. Then defrost by hand. We have repeated this monthly, then bi-monthly and now weekly. Do not buy this product
