This is a great controller. much improvement on the PS3 with sixaxis and rumble you can't go wrong with this controller for games or even the blu ray feature. the dual sticks are looser but stiff good feel. the R buttons seem more ergonomic on the hands for triggering and combo moves. of course the blue tooth feature rocks you can finally play without a cord THANK YOU!!!!!
the charge time is not bad and length of use with full charge is really good! hands down best controller out on the market and for your PS3 pretty spendy and not enough colors or see thru controller to give variety but that is just being picky bottom line for price....sixaxis + bluetooth technology + rumble= fun over and over!!!! A MUST BUY!! and by the way you will NEED TWO!!!!
What's great about it: RESPONSIVE, NICE IN YOUR PALMS AND FINGERS
What's not so great: color assortments
I would recommend this to a friend!

Its a good controller. Its a little big for my 5 year old to hold. But he love that it vibrates!

This is one of those purchases that you don't even have a choice in, so why fight it? Soon (if not already) you'll only be able to get dualshock in stores. For those of you who don't care about the function, you can find the version of the controller on online shops for cheap. But for the purist gamers out there, who want to experience everything the game has to offer, just get this. OH! And make sure it comes with the cord. My first one didn't.
What's great about it: A lot of games incorporate the dualshock tech.
What's not so great: Few games use it very innovatively as MGS4
I would recommend this to a friend!

Best controller ever!! Easy to use and can be charged with usb cable while playing. Only thing is that the usb cable is short.
What's great about it: Wireless, Can be charged with usb
What's not so great: Expensive

Great Upgrade from Sixxaxis

I really like using this control over the Sixxaxis. The rumble works as you would expect it to, and the battery life doesn't seem to take a hit for that functionality.
What's great about it: Weighted well, comfortable
What's not so great: A little pricey

I owned a PS2 and when I bought my PS3 this controller wasnt around so i felt like my PS3 was missing something, but now it feels complete. A must own for every PS3 owner.

This is a great controller. I really like the dualshock 3 it goes well with Madden and Metal Gear Solid 4. The price is kind of high but I think in the end it's beneficial because you dont have to buy batteries all the time. Overall a great controller.
What's great about it: Wireless, No AA Batteries
What's not so great: The price is high

get ready to rumble, even with ps2 games

was already extremely happy with the Sixaxis controller, but I could not resist getting the DualShock 3. Not only do you get the rumble, but also, it feels much better in your hands, even for those games that do not use this feature. The rumble function is fun, but on top of that, it helps with gameplay, because "feeling" what is happening provides a lot more feedback than just watching how your character or car reacts to the environment.
The biggest surprise of all was that the rumble works with PS 2 games in the PS 3 system. I am currently playing through "God of War", a game which had the rumble capability in PS 2. I thought that it was unlikely that I was going to get this feature with this new controller in the PS 3, but it worked perfectly.
I know that having to buy a new controller and basically discard the one that came with the system is not the ideal situation, but I have to say this product is really worth shedding the extra bucks.
What's not so great: a little bit heavier
I would recommend this to a friend!
