Didn't work at all out of box! Didn't charge, didn't have a charge!!! Let sit and charge for 2 hours, no juice!!! Useless!!! Terrible service. Talked to a best buy rep about this before purchase, said it was a good buy! Utterly terrible!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It's a PS4 Remote - What else needs to be said?

These remotes are fantastic! Until they die a few months later. If you're a heavy gamer who plays pretty much every day... 3 to 4 months is the general lifetime of the controller - from my experience. They continue to "work" but, the buttons stop responding properly. For example, sometimes I'll start running and the character will immediately stop and walk instead. I'll press the button to "shoot" but, nothing happens. Then, it shoots seconds later...
I then go out and buy a new remote - problems solved. So yeah, love the PS4 remotes but, they don't last very long with heavy use.
