Best washer I ever had!

Unbalanced machine

Great Washer

Terrible Washing Machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had this washing machine for 2 years and it rarely works properly. The drum is supposed to automatically recalibrate if it goes uneven, but it rarely does it correctly. We got rid of a 20 year old washer expecting this to be a big upgrade. Unfortunately, this machine doesn't do the one thing it is supposed to - wash clothes! Very frustrating. We've tried everyting to get it working right with no luck. Will likely replace shortly at great expense.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This machine does not get the job done! Dirty clothes must be washed twice, and the wash cycles are very long. Lots of nice features, but also lots of headaches. The direct drive is a bit loud. Not a family washing machine!

Disappointing washing machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so very disappointed with this washing machine! It can take a whole day to do a load of washing. Yes I did say a whole day! It has a system that balances the load of washing and if the machine's load becomes unbalanced (over which you have no control), the machine shows UE (Uneven load) on the control panel. It constantly refills itself up with water to try and balance the load - I am glad I am not on a water meter as I would have been contacting LG for a rebate on my water bill! If I had enough money to replace this machine I would put it out on the curb for scrap metal.
The reason I gave it 2 stars instead of just one is that it does have a huge tub, which is useful and can fit a comforter in it.
Very disappointed in this product LG - not your quality standard at all!
