I love this machine. It is quiet, and the clothes have never smelled so good. It has a variety of settings for all types of laundry. I truly recommend this machine.

This washer is without a doubt the best washer my wife and I have ever owned. Not only is it very quiet and efficient, It has cut down on our drying time by spinning the water out so well. We bought this site unseen based on a consumer review. We have not been disappointed. I highly recommend this washer.

Better Than Expected...and I'm no pushover!

I did a fair amount of on-line research before deciding upon the LG washer. I knew that I wanted a top loader (I don't like the door seals on the front loading machines, as they tend to trap moisture, lint, hair, etc.). It quickly became evident that the newer style, without a central agitator, was the way to go. It allows for larger loads and is much kinder on the clothes. I then began to compare various manufacturers. I really liked the LG design, with the controls up front...makes total sense, especially for those of us with older eyes!
The best part about all of this was the performance...it was a snap to hook up. It is sooo quiet and simple to use and as has been highlighted in so many reviews, it really gets clothes clean! The spin cycle goes up to 1,100 rpm so our dryer time has been reduced by more than half!
Over the years, when necessary, I've repaired my own machines, so I am pretty familiar with build quality. This machine is well built and very solid. Never leaving anything to chance, LG has also insured that this machine can self diagnose any problems and send the information over the phone...nice touch!

LOOK NO FURTHER!

I did extensive research, over the course of several months, before purchasing this product. I have owned it for 3 months and I absolutely love it! The capacity and capabilities of this washer exceeds expectations! So easy to use and you can customize your loads.There is no central agitator so it is much gentler on clothes and yet they are cleaner then ever before. It is so quiet, the machine is self balancing and the spin cycle reduces dry time significantly. It is a money saver! Our energy bills have notably been reduced as have the amount of detergents used. I used to have to take my King comforters and blankets to the dry cleaners. Not any more! Both washer and drier do a remarkable job and at a huge savings to us! It has been mentioned that a max load takes longer then average (1h 10m versus 54m.) Time well spent if you ask me! Lastly, the design of this washer is beautiful.

Previously owned a product that continued to give us problems with its computer and was down for several days at a time. We had to do laundry at the local Laundromat - yuck. This LG4.5 Washer is the best and operates at a much higher efficiency rate. No problems.

Looks nice, washes ok. Have had 1 load that some clothes came out dry. Miss the old time agitator, clothes smelled cleaner & fresher with old leaky washer. Sorry I had to replace it.

Doesn't get clothes clean

I like how this washer looks, but it does not get my spit up on baby clothes clean even after ore treating and soaking. When I wash a blanket the middle is still dry..does not agitate enough, water does not cover clothes, always unbalanced

Great technology. Low water usage was concern on cleaning results but it's just great. Good price, quiet operation. Just Love it.
One con: For short people tub is deep and difficult to reach in to get final small items.
