All you need

This washer has everything you need. We didn't need a huge washer, but still wanted room for a comforter and some larger loads. This fits the bill, and cleans nicely. I like being able to see through the top, and the controls in the front are convenient and cool-looking. Pretty quiet, decently quick wash.

Love my new Top Load Washer!

I was so tired of having to bend over sideways to pull laundry from my front loader. After much research I decided on this top loading machine. I am so glad I did. It really does have many cycle choices and with its balancing mechanism is a dream! The spin cycle really does the job, so much so my ONLY draw back is the wrinkles when doing dress shirts and such after the spin cycle. As long as you take your clothes out right away and give them about 5 minutes in your dryer, then hang, it doesn't seem so bad. (This is what I do anyway) Clothes is clean and that is what matters! Very happy with my choice! Will replace our old dryer soon with the same model dryer!

Great Washing Machine

We replaced an old style washer with a dial and an agitator with this new LG. After learning how to sort again, and load this new appliance, I'm getting to know it pretty well. The large capacity makes laundry a breeze. I love that I can wash my bedding and feel like it is clean! I've only had one item that a stain didn't completely wash out and that stain was so faint noone else would have noticed it. Very pleased would recommend it to anyone. I feel our energy consumption is less and the water bill will decrease. Hard to believe that this appliance uses so little water.

Love this top loader. Quiet, easy to use and great capacity. Washed a queen comforter with no issues!!!! Would recommend without hesitation!!!

We had this washer for 8 weeks now, this thing is just great. The only thing is it's really deep, some shorter people in the household have a time trying to get things on the bottom. But other then that! It's Great!

Love this washer!

Our laundry is just off the living room, so the quietness of this machine - even when spinning fast - is a big plus that thrilled even my husband.
I love the huge size, which has allowed me to cut the number of loads I do per week by at least half and, sometimes, two-thirds (thanks to using Color Catcher).
The cycle selection and extras are intuitive and easy to use. I was afraid I wouldn't know what to do without a special permanent press cycle, but it's simple and I have much more control over fabric care than ever before. Never had a bedding cycle before, so it's been great to be able to wash comforters and quilts at home.
Cleans wonderfully and everything smells fresh. I saw on other reviews that some people thought some of their laundry items never even got wet. The directions say to load large items on the bottom and small on the top. Every single time I unload my machine, all the small items are on the bottom and the big items are on top. Everything is clean and spun as dry as I selected on the spin speed.
It has gone out of balance twice. Both times I had loaded wet towels from mopping up other catastrophes and tried to wash them before running them through spin-only. Lesson learned.
The lid design to allow ventilation is elegantly simple and feels very solid.
When my sister came to visit and heard me rave about the machine, she had to write down the model number down so she can watch for a similar sale to replace her perfectly good LG front loader because its door is always in the way when she leaves it open, and it gets musty when she leaves it closed.

I would purchase this washer again

I like this washer. Because I am 5'2" I probably should not have purchased this large capacity because it is difficult to reach to the bottom to remove clothes. I do have a small concern that some items have appeared torn even when washed on delicate. Most of these were towels that were old; however, just recently a new sweater washed on delicate had a tear at a seam. I wish it had a "hand wash" cycle.
I love the look of the washer with controls at the front and the ability to put a laundry basket on the top and still be able to see the controls.
