I'VE BEEN PLAYING THIS SERIES SINCE IT BEGAN ON THE SNES. WHILE GRAPHICALLY, THIS GAME HAS MADE SOME LEAPS AND BOUNDS OVER ITS PREDECESSORS. HOWEVER, THE FUN AND SIMPLE GAMEPLAY REMAINS. THERE ARE PLENTY OF FAMILIAR TRACKS TO CHOOSE FROM. IF YOU'RE FAMILIAR WITH THE SERIES, YOU'LL INSTANTLY RECOGNIZE TRACKS FROM PREVIOUS GAMES THAT INVOLVE THE HAUNTED HOUSE, BOWSWER'S PALACE, RAINBOW ROAD, PRINCESS PEACH'S CASTLE AND VARIOUS OTHERS. THIS GAME CAN BE PLAYED BY ALL AGES AND IS A GREAT PARTY GAME. THIS CAN ALSO BE PLAYED ONLINE VERSUS UP TO 8 PLAYERS. NINTENDO BROUGHT BACK MANY OF THE WEAPONS THAT WE'VE COME TO RECOGNIZE AS SERIES STAPLES ALONG WITH A FEW NEW SURPRISES. BATTLE MODE IS ALSO BACK IN FINE FASHION. I SHOULD ALSO ADD THAT THE INCLUSION OF MOTORCYCLES ON TOP OF KARTS ADD A SLIGHT TWIST IN THE PLAY MECHANICS. THE GAME DOES COME PACKED IN WITH THE WII WHEEL THAT YOU PUT YOUR WII-MOTE INTO. IT IS A LITTLE HARD TO GET USE TO, BUT I'VE GOTTEN THE HANG OF IT AND HAVE BEEN PLAYING WITH IT SO FAR. THERE ARE PLENTY OF UNLOCKABLES, BUT THE ONLINE MODES ARE WHAT WILL KEEP YOU COMING BACK FOR MORE.

What's great about it: TRACK VARIETY, TONS OF CHARACTERS, EASE OF USE, ADDICTIVE GAMEPLAY, ONLINE PLAY

What's not so great: WHEEL IS A LITTLE HARD TO USE

A Great Racing Game

In traditional Mario Kart Style, the newest addition for the Wii is fun, interactive, and great to play with friends. It also provides of hours of enjoyment for a single player and great online connectivity. There is virtually no lag (as far as I have seen), but playing with friends is true racing fun as well. While the new Wii Wheel takes a little while to get used to, it does work very well, although using the classic Gamecube controller is more responsive. The addition of motorcycles as well as karts gives the game something for everyone, and it is a true gem of a racing game for the Wii.
I would recommend this to anyone looking for a fun party game, or for single player entertainment!

What's great about it: Graphics, Ease of play

What's not so great: Unlocking Everything

Great Multiplayer Game

Mario Kart is a fantastic game! It has all the old charm with new twists. I prefer the wii mote and nuncuk combo esp. for tracks like rainbow road. The wii wheel does not have as much control. Online Play is fun, yes there really is no convo between players but it's nintendo! All in all, great game and worth the money.

What's great about it: tracks are wider, new items and up to 12 players

What's not so great: wii wheel is not the best accessory to perform tricks

best wii game

This is probably the 20th wii game I have played and the only wii game so far that I can't wait to play every night. There is so much more than just a racing game here. One feature lets you race online and you can race against players in the country or against players in the world. Makes for very fun races.. if your friend has Mario Kart, you can register them and race with them online at your own homes. We usually race my brother, call him on speaker phone as if he were in the same room with us, it is so much fun. There is also a feature were you can race against yourself to help better your game and time so you can win more cars, bikes or characters.. I just won the character wii, so I can drive as myself now instead of other nintendo characters. This is a must have.. unlke other games where once you beat it that is it.. there really is no getting to the end of this game. Even if you unlock everything and win every trophy, there is someone out there you can not beat and it is fun trying.

What's great about it: racing online with your friends who have mario kart

What's not so great: so fun and addicting that it takes disapline to do other things

Great family fun

Good mariokart experience

The mario kart game is very fun and has many great races it also has many of your favorite characters and i really like the great feature of the wii wheel that is included, because it really helps the gaming experience to be funner. This a very fun game and recommended.

What's great about it: The game is very fun and has very good graphics

What's not so great: when drifting sometimes a little hard to do but over all it does fine

Best Wii game!

This is best Wii game! The steering wheel that comes with it make it's that much better. Lots of tracks,characters,karts,bikes!

Great addition to the series

This is a great game. If you're a fan of MarioKart already or if you are just picking it up you'll love it. The online play is especially addicting, though it unfortunately uses the dreaded friend codes.

What's great about it: Online races!!

What's not so great: Wheel can be akward
