Quiet

It's much quieter than my old one. I like how I can move the side door bins. I like the two pull out drawers. I can find things better in this freezer than in my old one.

Love the large size

Wanted a large freezer with an on-the-door soft freeze for storing ice cream. This met that requirement. Also, I like the visual display of the temperature prominently displayed on the outside of the door.

My small chest freezer became just too small for our needs. I checked the reviews and was impressed with the features and price of this model. My experience (now about 5 weeks) with this unit mirrors what I found in the online reviews: The noise level is discernible but not troublesome; the unit quickly cooled down to the factory preset of -1 degree and measurements in several areas confirmed a uniform, low temperature; the bright LED lighting is terrific! The two negatives were also encountered: another storage space should have been provided on the door and; the ice cream section (for softer freezing) is not tall enough! There are still some half-gallon containers that are simply too tall to fit in this area. I bought some Costco brand ice cream and had to wiggle the package in the center of the space to get it in ... any taller and I would have lost that desired functionality!

Good so far...except..

We have had the freezer for two months and it works well. Only issue is the freezers thermometer is not accurate. I used multiple high quality freezer thermometers, coil and mercury to test. The internal temp is consistently 13°-15° colder than what the freezer is set to. So I just set the freezer at 10° so the internal temp will be close to 0°. Haven't had unit long enough to rate reliability.

The freezer maintains a temperature of 0 degrees without constantly running. It is quiet and spacious, and is totally superior to the freezer it replaced.
