I cannot thank my beautiful daughter enough for buying this for my birthday!! She is the sweetest and most thoughtful daughter. I wanted this mixer for years and could not afford it with my hands starting to hurt so bad from the arthritis mixing things was painful now I just put everything in and the mixer does a wonderful job!! I love it so much. I feel blessed to own this Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer!!!!!

I'm a little disappointed in mixer. I was eyeing them for years, they are beautiful to look at and my husband bought one for me for Christmas. It mixes well, but is quite heavy and I like to move a spatula down the sides while it turns but a) there is no room and b) it doesn't turn. But I have tried a few things; it beat whipping cream well but the dough kneader didn't seem any better than hand-kneading.But it looks great on my counter!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
