I received the red kitchenaid mixer for Christmas. I have wanted one for some time. It makes my life so much easier and I have tried some new recipes that I would not have bothered with before as they were too complicated without a mixer. Love it!

Disappointed - no handle on bowl

Have the classic for years and love it. Recieved the ultra for birthday but to find there is no handle on the bowl was a big disappointment. Handle is SO helpful and eronomic. My son was told that there would be a handle, but not true for this model. Wanted to exchange for Atiisan for the handle, but store won't allow. Now I have to spend $$$ for a bowl. I have all KA stainless applicance........durable.....lovely.....last for generations.

I received this mixer for Christmas 2015 and had misgivings as to whether I should upgrade to the Artisan. But, with 300 watts motor, it does just what I need it to do. My only complaint is I would think since the KitchenAid mixers are so expensive that the pouring guard would come with them and not have to be purchased separately.
