This is a great mixer, strong enough to mix heavier things things like bread doughs, and with the availability of extra attachments it does so much more than just mix things up, the possibilities are endless!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this a couple weeks ago and have made cookies and pineapple upside-down cake. I was a bit concerned the cookie recipe would be too large for the smaller mixer ( I'd had a heavy duty 6 quart mixer before) but the smaller mixer worked like a champ! However I did order 2 new coated paddles to replace the uncoated paddle that came with the mixer. The original paddle was fine but not chromed. I prefer a coated paddle. Just my preference.

My boyfriends mom purchased this for me as a gift because I bake at home. It was so much nicer than my previous mixer (which was pretty nice) But the KitchenAid was quieter and quicker! And it looks terrific on my counter...SEXY! Not an eyesore...took away one star because occasionally I wil hear a "clicking" sound as it is mixing. I can't wait til I can get some attachments to use!!!!

This was the best Christmas present I ever got. Once you use this you will never go back to a hand held mixer. Mixes everything so thoroughly. Has many attachments so you can use it for many different things.
