I use my stand mixer almost daily. For everything from mixing dough for bread, cookies, or to mash potatoes for dinner. With 2 kids under 2 years old I don't often have a free hand, and with the stand mixer I don't need one! It does the hard work for me so I can still bake fresh bread and fold clothes or play with the kids at the same time. It's a lifesaver!!

I wish it would contain its contents better. On two separate occasions with 2 different ingredients when I turned it on the lowest setting, the ingredients flew out of the bowl.

Growing up, my mom had a KitchenAid mixer that was a permanent fixture on our kitchen counter. Years later, much to my dismay, she gave it away. For years I yearned to have a KitchenAid of my own. My mother felt so bad for giving her mixer away that she bought me my own this past January for my birthday. I can't even begin to tell you how in love with it I am. Not only is it bright pink, but it has made my love of baking into a love affair! No longer do I have to use a hand mixer or wooden spoon to craft a tasty treat. Using the KitchenAid has shortened my prep time many times over, and - even in my tiny kitchen - I am able whip up multiple batches of cupcakes in no time at all! Clean up is a breeze, too. For anyone needing or wanting an excellent, hard-working, solid stand mixer, I would recommend nothing other than a KitchenAid.

I am 70 years old and finally my sister talked me into buying a Kitchen Aid and I cannot believe that I have lived all these years without it. I usually have 4 international students all year, a husband and a wiener dog to take care of and I use this most every day for baking, making sauces, whipping cream and anything that needs to be done. Right now I am trying to teach it to wash the pots and pans....to no avail.
I am thinking about the pasta attachment and grinder as well.
I love my Kitchen Aid.
Pros: Performance, Design, Innovative, Convenient Features, Looks good, easy to use
Cons: a bit heavy to move around

I have been baking cookies for thirty years now all by hand, last year my bestie brought over her mothers from probably 20 years ago, to help bake with me!! I was hooked and i am not tech savvy so i did not want to learn how to operate it! so easy to use so easy to clean!! I made the purchase to me from me this past year and my cookies got rave reviews!! I made all the holiday mashed in there too!! who knows whats next!!The kitchen aid makes cooking and baking much easier without all the arm strength and it makes the process much faster!! I love vlove love mine and now want all the attachments!! I would give it 10 stars!!
