I received this as a gift when I was baking mass amounts of cookies to send to troops that are deployed overseas. This mixer is great for making small batches, or even mixing dough that doesn't have nuts or chocolate chips in it. But if you throw anything in that gets caught between the mixer and the side of the bowl or the mixer and the bottom of the bowl, be prepared for a pretty crazy noise as everything begins to rock around.
Other than that, this mixer is great. I enjoy having the ability to get an arm workout some days, but when baking for the masses, this is a lifesaver!
