After having to leave a previous one during a long distance move, I was able to get another one. Once again, this appliance is used almost daily; it's usefulness on par with the coffee maker or microwave. I anticipate many years of hard work from this machine! (my other one was many years old when a neighbor 'inherited' it from my house).
Pros: easy to use
Cons: I haven't found any yet

I bought this for a Christmas gift for my girlfriend, but I was so excited about it I made her open it at Thanksgiving so we could enjoy it through our holiday season!
There are probably 5 or 6 Kitchen Aid mixers in the immediate family and it a must have for serious cooks. The attachment options seem endless, are reliable, and easy to use.

This is my second KitchenAid Mixer. We moved to a new home and the old Harvest Gold color just didn't mesh with the gray décor of our new kitchen. So I decided to go for Empire Red. This new mixer is just as reliable and dependable as my old one.
