I absolutely love my mixer. Just downsized from the larger one to the 4.5 quart since I have cut back on the amount of baking & gave the old one to my daughter.
I like the tilt-head & that it still is heavy duty to make my pie dough, since I have arthritis in my hands it makes life a lot easier

This was a surprise Christmas gift from my husband. The picture on the fridge for months might have helped. I love having this mixer. My Kitchenaid stops at nothing. From delicate egg whites to hearty breads it gets the job done with ease. I can multi-task while it works. No more standing and waiting with a handheld mixer. Yay! The red finish makes me happy every time I see it.

I had been hinting to my husband our 22 years together all I want is a Kitchenaid stand mixer and I have received many amazing gifts, but until this past holiday my children had to say "dad no more crazy gifts this is what Mom wants" I GOT IT!!!!!! I use it everyday I named her Lola. I know I could have gotten it for myself, but it means so much more and she is amazing power house of awesome sauce!!!!

Love the mixer but the beaters are very poor. Oxidized after one use when they sat in clean dish washing liquid while I made the pasta. Took me an hour to get the oxidation off. Use stainless steel!

I have always wanted one but had never gotten around to buying one. For christmas my son and daughter in law bought me one. I was so thrilled to get it. I have problems with my shoulders and my right arm so I can't really use the hand held one all that well anymore, so getting this was the best gift they could of gotten me. I love it, I make my quick breads in it, along with any other baking I am doing, and it is great to make my homemade whipped body lotion in it. Makes it really smooth.
I would recommend a kitchenaid to anyone who wanted a stand mixer. Best thing ever!

I was never sure how much I would use a stand mixer if I had one, but I put it on my wedding registry and left it to chance. I was delighted to receive the mixer and it has worked it's way into my kitchen routines to become a valuable tool and very much like a second pair of hands in the kitchen. I didn't realize how nice it would be to have one thing mixing while I moved onto the next and it is particularly helpful when making more than one batch or during baking marathons.
To my surprise the attachments and bowl are very easy to put in place, remove, and clean. My only slight issue, and I understand why it needs to be this way, is that it's a heavy. I have ongoing back trouble and struggle to move the mixer without strain.
