I bought this mixer 2 months ago, and I don't know why I waited to buy it. It has been on my wish list for a while now. It is so easy to use. The bowl is the perfect size, and I love the blade options

The only complaint I have at all is that the lever sticks between off and the 1 position. I have to jiggle it a bit to get it to that level. Other than that I have LOVED my Kitchenaid.

I have been coveting this machine for more than a year, but could not bring myself to spend the money for it.
Well, after making some homemade yeast rolls and standing at the counter and kneading dough for what seemed like forever, I said "enough of this"! I got into my car and drove to town and bought it! (I live in the country, so I had to drive 60 miles round trip.)
I made my friend's favorite cake, Italian Cream, for his birthday. The cake turned out fabulously and a dream to make with this mixer! The mixer cut the mixing time and incorporated air into the mix to give an otherwise heavy cake a lighter and more moist texture. In fact, his wife said to her husband. . . "I am not ever making you another Italian Cream Cake . . . I cannot compete with this!"
I have since made yeast breads, cakes, cookies and puddings that are truly wonderful. I wonder, . . . "why did I wait so long"? I realized that I did not simply "want" this mixer, I "needed" it!
Great product, a must in every kitchen!
