Worked in the beginning

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this mixer for 8 years. I used it once every few months in the beginning and in the last year, about 4x/month. About a year ago, it started violently shaking all over the counter top, if I was not present, it would definitely fall off the counter. The highest speed no longer works and it overheats very quickly. Yes, we screwed the bolt on tighter as it says to. Might help in the slightest but still jumps around everywhere. Also, the black grease comes out where the attachment goes and I've had where it dripped into my dough for dinner rolls and left grey streaks in it. I thought these mixers were made to last a life time. Super frustrating as this product is not cheap.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
