My daughters bought this mixer for me for Mother's Day this year. I had wanted one for many years but was leary of spending too much money on a kitchen appliance. Boy! Was I missing out. I've used this stand mixer for cookies, cakes, bread, and so on, and it simplifies baking anything. Powerful enough to manage creaming butter/sugar, it also does well on other speeds and attachments to knead dough.
This size is just big enough to handle every recipe I've tried so far, but just. If anything, I would buy a size up next time and have a bit more room for mixing.
