I have wanted a kitchen-aid mixer ever since i seen them, but never had the extra money.So at Christmas my wife ask me what i wanted for Christmas.I told her a kitchen-aid mixer,so i went and purchased one.I do a lot of baking now that i am .The retired.The first day i got i made a cake.What an awesome piece of equipment.I have used it many times since then,and i am so happy with it.

I love my mixer and my husband loves the benefits of me having it. I am so glad he got it for me for Christmas. Now it is time to gather the different attachments. If you are on the fence about getting one let me tell you, you won't regret getting it, it is well worth the price.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've always wanted a KA mixer. I am not disappointed in the power and ease of mixing. It took a bit to adjust the beater so it was just clearing the bottom of the bowl...my first cake left dry mix at the bottom that didn't get mixed in. The only thing I notice is that it does tend to splash out of the bowl while mixing. Not crazy about decorating my kitchen with batter. I may have to look into the bowl guard KA sells in their accessories, but I don't see good ratings for those.
