Love my KitchenAid! The only thing I'm not happy with on this model is the 4 1/2 quart mixing bowl. It has no handle!! This design doesn't make for easy access or handling. Couldn't say anything else negative about the machine its self.
Pros: Design, Innovative, easy to use, Performance, Convenient Features
Cons: no handle on the 4 1/2 quart mixing bowl

The was a birthday gift from my daughter in July. I used it for the first time this past saturday. I was making a cake and was just about done, when I noticed a grey dust on top of the metal bowl and the batter. I could not figure out where it was coming from. I had washed the bowl por to using it. I threw out the cake batter and went to buy a glass bowl to see it that worked. I was excited about my gift, but the jury is still out as to if I will be able to continue to use it

I received my Kitchen aide for Christmas this year from my husband, Steve. I have not owned a Kitchen aide mixer for over 15 years. I have managed with an old sunbeam hand mixer and doing my mixing by hand. I LOVE this mixer. I am amazed each time I use it at the ease of using and the quickness of complete smooth mixing. I feel lazy, but plan on a lot more baking. Also cant wait to use the attachments for slicing. Awesome!

My husband bought this to cheer me up after being admitted at the hospital again due to my gestational high blood pressure and I couldn't contain my happiness when I saw it because I've been dreaming of owning one for years. And now it's my go-to kitchen appliance in baking my daughter's cakes, cupcakes, breads and even pork and shrimp dumplings. I so love my midnight blue stand mixer that it got me to be a cake baker and designer . My inspiration in baking pretty cakes.

I received my mixer for Christmas of 2013 I've only used it maybe twice. I would love to use it more however my attachments are nasty every time I have used them I get black all over me. It's like they are coated with something that I cannot get rid of. Are there stainless steel attachments available.
