I have 2 KA mixers and I'd never buy anything else. I use them for everything, from mashing potatoes to double batches of swiss meringue buttercream. The tilt head makes scraping the bowl easy and efficient, while the lift arm tackles the big jobs. I'm already wanting another.

No handle on bowl.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had an Ultra Power tilt head stand mixer in white...love it...great quality- never any problems and purchased it 25-30 yrs ago?...We decided to get another one only in the matte black. When it arrived, the bowl did not have a handle. Apparently this feature is not standard anymore and this is something I wanted, so back it went. I ended up
purchasing the Artisan model/same color. I expect I will have this one for many years as
well. Kitchenaid products never let me down. I am sure that the mixer itself it fine but for me, I need a handle on the bowl -otherwise a fine product -would have rated excellent but no handle was let down.( my old one had/has a handle and still running smooth)..

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] REPLACED A 25 YR. MODEL THAT FINALLY WORE OUT; THE NEW ONE LASTED A MONTH BEFORE DANCING ON THE COUNTER + OTHER AILMENTS AND WAS RETURNED.
