I love my Kitchenaid but it is a bit difficult to scrape the bowl down because you have to lift the whole head out of the bowl in order to do it. I will get used to that though. I love my Kitchenaid. It is probably much safer having to stop it and lift the head in order to scrape the bowl. It does such a great job of mixing everything and does it so quickly. I'm spoiled! Besides, I got to chose a RED one. My favorite color.
Pros: Performance, easy to use, nice red color, Design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a gift from my daughter. She saw my old mixer and what I had to do when using it. This was the best gift I have received in a long time. I don't have to turn this mixer off to ingredients in. It is wonderful and I love it.

I love my mixer. My mother has owned one for over 15 years, so that only constitutes the reliability of the machine. I have made everything from pie crust to cookies and have no complaints.

The KitchenAid® Ultra Power® Series 4.5-Quart Tilt-Head Stand Mixer is a wonderful, elegant kitchen appliance. It graces my granite countertop with an uncommon attractiveness, looking like it was designed just for my kitchen. Even better, it works splendidly. I'm not sure one could ask for more out of a stand mixer of its price point. Potatoes are no match?they will be beaten into a smooth, melt-in-your-mouth mash with ease. Batters for baked goods are easily made uniform.
Also, it's just plain fun to use. I smile every time I turn it on.
